Obtaining Service During Covid-19

TUES - SAT: 10AM - 4PM

We know many of you may have been disheartened that Empire Harley-Davidson was forced to shut down due to the Governor's COVID-19 Safety measures.

While we will unfortunately be unable to maintain regular Retail Operations during this crisis, we are allowed to keep our service department working as vehicle repair is considered an essential service.  We now have a plan in place so that we can provide you this essential service in a manner that is safe for both you and our staff.

Service appointments can be requested by emailing C19Service@empireharley.com with your contact info.  A service representative will contact you to schedule a drop off time.  For complete details on the special procedures in place please read below.

Please note that while we can perform inspections, NY State has extended all inspections indefinitely so there is no need to rush in if all you need is an inspection.

These are unprecedented times, and we appreciate your assistance and understanding.  Tough times do not last, but tough people do.  And, together, we are strong!

We will be running limited Service Operations during this crisis for your essential service needs. We plan to do this Mon-Fri from approx 10:00AM to 4:00PM.

All Service will be on a strictly scheduled basis, we do not have the capacity to accept walk-ins.

The preferred method of contact will be email.

Due to limited staff, we are unable to answer phone inquiries.  Please send a contact phone number to C19Service@EmpireHarley.com along with a brief description of your desired essential service.  Emails will be monitored 7 days a week to best serve our loyal Customers.

In order to assist with flattening the curve, the following safety protocols will be in place:

Customers will not be granted access to the Building, under any circumstances.  We have already done a comprehensive disinfection of the entire Store and the limited Staff present is fully instructed in the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and has been outfitted with the necessary gear to keep our property safe.  Most disinfected areas of the Store are now off limits to Staff as well.  We greatly appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented crisis.

When we check you in, for everyone's safety. please maintain social distancing with our Team member.

Our Team member will wipe down all bearing surfaces (such as grips and levers, latches on luggage and keys/fobs) with a disinfectant.  After this point, please do not resume contact with your motorcycle.

Upon return of your unit, we will again disinfect all bearing surfaces, as we did with check in.

When you arrive for your scheduled necessary service appointment, please park against the wall opposite the service door as you normally would.  Please do not park your bike across the service entrance or in the area of the driveway marked no parking.  Please call the cell phone number provided in your email confirmation and a team member will come outside to receive your unit.

While it would be ideal to drop off your unit and come back upon completion, we recognize this will not always be possible.  Customers may utilize the the picnic tables by The Dog House as a waiting area. Customers will not be granted access to the Building, under any circumstances. If you choose to wait, please remember that an interval service takes approximately three to four hours.  If more than one Customer is on the property, please remember to maintain your social distancing.

In order to minimize cross exposure, we will not be able to accept cash as a method of payment.  You may pay your repair invoice via credit card.  This may be accomplished by one of two methods.  You may opt to contact our Team member over the phone and we can process your payment that way, or if you prefer, our team member can receive your credit card which will be wiped with a disinfectant and keyed into the system.

NO charges will be run without Customer authorization.

Upon return of your unit, we will again disinfect your card (if provided).  At that time you make take possession of your motorcycle enjoy your time in the wind, knowing your unit was properly serviced by the top service team in the Tri-State area.

Due to the DMV Offices being closed, the following rules have been put into place by the Governor:

Licenses and registrations expiring March 1st or later have been extended until further notice. Many transactions can still be completed online.

All inspections expiring March 31st or later have been extended until further notice.
